Superior Plumbing Brisbane (SPB), a family-owned business with over 20 years of experience, is looking for a new Plumbing Office Administrator to join our dedicated team.  We are seeking a full-time Office Administrator to support the Director in managing office activities efficiently and professionally.

While experience in plumbing, electrical, or trade businesses is preferred, we highly value a can-do attitude and enthusiasm for new challenges. Our office is located in Virginia, Brisbane North, where we prioritise creating a supportive and accommodating work environment.

Our ideal candidate is proficient in small business administration and excels in using the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). They are competent and efficient in handling all tasks, able to work independently, and comfortable spending time alone in the SPB office. Additionally, they should have strong communication skills and work well with the broader SPB team and business partners.

You must have your own transport, be reliable and be able to work in our office in Virginia. You must have great customer service skills and a strong ability to learn on the go. 

 
DUTIES:- 

  • Administrative experience – Email, phone & daily office management
  • Have knowledge of accounts payable & receivables - processing, entering & generating invoices
  • Running & Scheduling project jobs – database & spreadsheets
  • Responsible for scheduling all project jobs for tradesman – project management software
  • Scheduling maintenance jobs for existing & new clients
  • Employee Time-sheets – Management & Correction for all staff
  • Contracts Administration duties – organising documents for all projects, assembling plans & files
  • HR duties 
  • Maintaining equipment & vehicle logs
  • PA & diary management duties for company director
  • Communication with the various councils & QBCC - lodging forms, booking inspections
  • Many other various Ad Hoc duties as required

ABOUT YOU

  • 3 Years Administration Experience - Experience in administration for another plumbing company or similar (construction or services an advantage)
  • Excellent time management & organisational skills
  • Willingness & ability to learn quickly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Project Management software & MYOB – (an advantage)
  • Ability to liaise in a B2B manner as well as with maintenance clients
  • Neat & tidy presentation to represent Superior Plumbing Brisbane in a professional manner
  • Previous experience in construction-based software programs (procore, hammertech, estimate 1- an advantage but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
