The Role
This role focuses on managing the import process for your dedicated customer base from pre-alert right through to delivery, you will also be required to manage a small number of exports from time to time. A seamless point of contact for your customer is paramount to achieving service excellence, hence prior knowledge of import and CargoWise will be the start to securing an interview for this role.Responsibilities
- Coordinate with shippers, consignees, carriers, overseas network, cartage and brokerage teams related to import/export shipments
- Process documents efficiently and distribute pre-alerts and required documents to appropriate parties
- Monitor availability of cargo for both air & sea (FCL & LCL)
- Prepare documentation for transport companies and ensure all customs and AQIS procedures have been met
- Arrange cartage of inbound & outbound for air & sea shipments (including cross trade shipments)
- Monitor cargo, damaged/pilfered cargo and handling of any claims arising
- Working closely with 3PL warehouse to coordinate warehouse transfers, container deliveries
- A minimum of 1 years experience working within a Freight Forwarder
- Provide exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction by providing regular shipment updates
- Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot shipment complexities
- Have a good work ethic and be a team player
- Modern office space with ample parking available
- Hands-on consultative manager who have strong credentials within the forwarding industry

- WFH – 1 Day per week
