About the Role:
You will join the Operational Risk team reporting to the Senior Risk Manager for Operational Risk. The role will support the Head of Operational Risk in further developing and maintaining a sound risk management framework and uplifting risk capabilities across the business through tools and disciplines. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Your duties and responsibilities:- Support the Head of Operational Risk in implementing, maintaining and improving the Group’s Risk Management Framework, including the Risk Management Strategy and Appetite.
- Assist with the continuous improvement of our Enterprise Risk Management system (Protecht) by understanding the requirements of users across the three lines of defence (3LOD).
- Undertake activities to provide assurance that oversight of risks exists and that risk management and governance processes are effectively implemented.
- In preparation for of risk forums and committees, assist with the co-ordination and communication of the requirements for risk owners in the reporting of risk assessments.
About You:
- At least 2 years insurance and/or financial services experience
- A general knowledge of Risk Management processes and practices.
- Ideally have a tertiary qualification or diploma in Accounting, Commerce, Banking Economics, Finance or Law.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence and manage stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and data driven ability
