SalaryThe Situation:
A $150m manufacturer after doubling in size in 5 years and plans for even bigger change are now looking to replace the soon to be retiring CFO. Over the next couple of years, you'll take on the accounting (2-3 days per month), the business partnering and some operational decision support as you learn a very agile, robust and fast-paced business.
The best bit is, you don't need to have qualifications or all the experience under the sun. You just need to understand manufacturing from an operations, IT, data perspective and have the desire to be curious and focus on adding value.
The rest will be taught as you're mentored by the CFO and CEO to meet the future needs of the business.
Loose Remit…
Sales, Production, inventory and logistics will be your main focus as will the internal ERP, Database and Sales systems.
We want you to start looking at how you can support the teams to improve their efficiency. For example sales need insight into pricing, customer performance, rebates and contracts. Production need to understand stock and inventory movements more closely as customer demand increases.
Accounting is quarterly submissions, year end and looking after the properties.
What We Would Like to See From You:
- Some time in a manufacturing business in either IT, Operations, Data and being curious about how the business runs.
- A confident communicator who has ambitions of growing into more influential roles.
- Good with data and numbers. Can you help the business with your interpretations?
