As Operations and Logistics Manager you will be at the centre of our new partnership with Melbourne & Olympic Parks (M&OP), Overseeing the coordination of event logistics, managing inventory, and ensuring seamless operations during electrifying sports showdowns, epic concerts, and thrilling entertainment events.

Leveraging Levy Australia’s cutting-edge, guest-centric approach your role will be integral in allowing our teams to deliver legendary experiences for the up to three million guests to hundreds of events the park welcomes each year, including the world’s biggest tennis tournament, the Australian Open. The Position:
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics including setup, teardown, equipment rental, and transportation logistics to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and manage replenishment to ensure adequate supplies for events while minimising waste and cost.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services to support event operations.
- Lead and supervise a team of Operations and Logistics staff, delegate tasks, provide training and support, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
The Person:
- Proven track record of successfully managing event logistics and operations, preferably in a large-scale sporting or entertainment venue.
- Extensive experience in inventory management, supply chain logistics, and procurement, with a focus on optimising efficiency and minimising costs.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in building and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in leading and motivating teams, delegating tasks, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
