Position Overview: CMTP is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to manage our Mildura branch encompassing all of the day to day operations and responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving efficiency, thriving on customer interaction and experience whilst being accountable for branch performance. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the growth and success of CMTP Mildura Site.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of operations, including production, quality control and safety compliance
- Drive customer engagement and have a focus on customer development
- Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of 14 employees, providing coaching, guidance and support
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to optimize performance and achieve financial targets
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to address operational challenges and capitalize on opportunities for growth
Values and Experience:
- Proven experience in operations/branch management or in a similar leadership role within the manufacturing industry
- Able to work remotely and make decisions that are in alignment with corporate guidelines and policies.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, coach and motivate teams
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with new and existing customers
- A conscientious and honest leader with a safety first mindset
- Commercially and financially minded with the ability to adapt with changing priorities in a manufacturing and customer service environment
- A team first mindset to assist in administration and all production areas when required
