About the role
As Operations & Engineering Manager you will be running the overall Operations of the Asset. You will work closely with external contractors across both hard and soft services to deliver exceptional value to the Asset and its occupants. You will attend to repairs and minor works but will also oversee significant capital expenditure projects while taking a strong-minded customer service with tenants, contractors, and the site team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure the building is maintained to a high standard of presentation and working order and maintaining all preventative and reactive maintenance programs to ensure that standards of the respective contracts are met.
- Ensure the building's Essential Services are maintained appropriately and that issues raised through essential services contractors are promptly resolved.
- Manage contractors to ensure they achieve compliance with company procedures and requirements, and that the contractors are delivering the scope of services they have agreed to in a timely manner and satisfactory standard.
- Monitor and provide feedback on cleaning standards throughout the building.
- Liaise with tenants as required to keep them informed of developments and to best represent the interests of company and the building owner.
About you
To succeed in this role, you need a tertiary degree qualification in real estate, property, technical facilities, or a trade background (highly regarded). Additionally, a minimum of 5 years' experience in an engineering or building facilities/management related discipline is required. Demonstrated exceptional time management and organisational skills, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines, are crucial.
