ABOUT THE ROLE
The role is to oversee and guide an established, experienced team within the administration, manufacturing and installation areas of the business.
You will be there to problem solve when required, roll up your sleeves when required and provide guidance and support.
You will have a sense of urgency, be a natural people leader, with a focus on solutions and the ability to see the bigger picture, set objectives, and deliver results. You will be an excellent communicator; able to establish goals and then support your team to achieve them.
It would be helpful if you have worked for a substantial company and have a proven track record of successful appointments of key staff. You would also be familiar with Human Resources as well as modern processes and procedures including, Lean and Best Practice. Any studies you have done in these areas would be well regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operations office on a daily basis
- Manage human resources
- Support and motivate the team
- Drive a high-level safety and customer service culture
- Work well with all departments within the business including sales, manufacturing, customer service.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the team is up-to-date with industry best practices.
- Foster a positive and safety-focused work environment.
- Conduct regular meetings and ensure safety inspections are carried out
- Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm for both the business and the group, creating a positive working environment for all employees
- Helping to influence positive change and supporting company brand and reputation

- Previous management experience in a manufacturing/services based company

- Strong decision-making, negotiation and influencing skills with a results-driven approach
