Position Summary:

Mitchcon is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and enhance the operational efficiency of our concrete pumping services. Reporting directly to the Planner and Director of Operations, this multi-faceted role requires a proactive individual who is committed to delivering top-level service to our customers. The Operations Manager will be pivotal in liaising with customers, inspecting job sites, managing equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Liaison and Service Excellence: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and ensure Mitchcon provides exceptional service. Regularly inspect job sites to guarantee that service delivery aligns with client expectations and safety regulations.
• Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance, auditing, and compliance of concrete pumping equipment to ensure they are operational and meet all regulatory requirements. Schedule and monitor regular maintenance checks and compliance audits.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations adhere to industry standards and regulations. Implement and oversee safety protocols and procedures, conducting regular site and equipment inspections to mitigate risks.
• Operational Planning: Work closely with the Planner and Director of Operations to optimize operational processes and resources. Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity in line with company goals.
• Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the concrete pumping or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage customer relationships and team leadership.
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications in operations management, safety, or related fields are desirable.

Salary & Benefits:

• A competitive salary range of $150,000 to $200,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
