Overview about the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an astute leader to grow the position and brand of the commercial market offerings for key programs at DHSV, including the Overseas Trained Clinician (OTC) Program. The role will oversee the strategy, structure, budgets and financial outcomes of the Commercial Business unit.
You are a consultative leader who has strong experience in managing student relationships and converting these into sustainable pipelines for the OTC programs and clinicians within public health. Your stakeholder engagement skills will see you develop excellent partnerships, both internally and externally.
Key responsibilities include:
- Re-positioning of the OTC program to increase market share, employing business growth strategies to meet organisational goals and objectives
- Analysis of market trends and market research, along with competitor offerings to inform the strategy to position DHSV as a leader in the market
- Development and implementation of a marketing and brand strategy to position DHSV as a training provider of choice
- Management of staff and resources within the commercial team to deliver courses and services to standards set by DHSV
- Management of the continuous improvement of courses and services and compliance requirements.
About you:
- Demonstrated experience in the development and execution of business strategy
- Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of a marketing and brand strategy
- Strong leadership experience in operational management preferably in healthcare
- Experience in digital communications including developing and implementing digital strategies
- Demonstrated communication skills in engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders within and external to the organisation
- Strong understanding of contemporary adult learning theory and practice.
