Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Perth clinics. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient and effective service delivery, managing clinic staff, improving operational processes, and leading projects aimed at enhancing patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, workforce planning, and clinic workflows to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Project Management: Lead projects to improve clinic operations and patient care, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies, implement quality improvement initiatives, and conduct regular audits.
- Financial Management: Assist in budgeting and financial planning, monitor financial performance, and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise clinic staff, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a positive work environment.
- Contractor/Doctor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for doctors, addressing and resolving any queries or concerns they may have.
- Patient Experience: Ensure high standards of patient care and satisfaction, address complaints, and implement feedback mechanisms.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare operations management, preferably in a specialist or primary care clinic setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Proven project management experience, with relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) being a plus.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in healthcare management software (eg: Genie) and project management tools.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
