Our client, a reputable shopping centre landlord, is seeking a forward-thinking and motivated Operations Manager to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for preserving and boosting the value of the shopping centre through effective management of various aspects including building services, infrastructure, ESG initiatives, compliance, and more.
Duties:
- Managing day-to-day operations of the shopping centre
- Budget management and planning
- Building relationships with retailers
- Disaster recovery planning and risk management
- Contractor management
- Coordination of tenant fit-outs and de-fits
- Providing leadership to support staff
- Liaising with stakeholders
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in shopping centre operations is preferred
- Assistant Operations Managers with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
- Proven leadership ability managing a small team
- Knowledge of building infrastructure and systems
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Capacity to work flexible hours, including weekend work when required
- Demonstrated cultural respect and understanding of issues facing culturally diverse communities
