What will I be doing?
As the Operations & Sales Manager (Select Hygiene), you would be the direct point of contact for our Select Hygiene staff and direct stakeholders. Your role would also have you on the road throughout the week, thus a good balance between days in the office and on the road! You will be provided a company car!
The Candidate
You will be highly motivated with a very positive outlook and be keen to be part of our growing business & successful team. You are a clear and concise thinker and communicator with solid problem solving skills.
You would have the innate ability to identify sales opportunities and follow through these sales with our Business Development & Marketing team.
A well-developed operational focus that you may have gained in the commercial cleaning industry or similar field. Ideally you would also have some experience to the sales requirements as they may occur in the cleaning industry, including walk through inspections.
This is a role that will not have you bored! It has a sound mix of office duties, sales opportunities, connecting with clients and managing your staff!
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Service of current clients
- Identifying new leads
- Upselling
- Direct Line Manager for the Select Hygiene staff
- Installations of washroom products at client sites
- Compliance with OH&S Standards
- Staff Rostering
- Walk Through of Facilities
- Compiling of timesheets
- Repairs (on site)
- Ordering of stock
- Managing the Borg Property Services/Select Hygiene Warehouse
- Preparing our staff for their daily runs
What do I need to be considered for this role?
- A degree in Business, Operations or related field (preferable, not essential)
- 5+ years experience in Operations and/or Sales
- Have an exceptional ability to build and manage a killer sales pipeline, consistently exceeding targets
- Proven track record in sales and experience in managing a team
- Exposure to the cleaning industry is strongly desirable
- The succesful applicant will also need to undergo a medical & drug check prior to commencement of employment
- Working With Children Check, we can organise this if you do not have one, as you commence work with us.

The Package
$70,000 plus Superannuation + Commission + Company Phone + Car (NEG) + Free On-Site Parking
