About the role
The Operator - Wheeled Excavator is responsible for efficiently and safely operating the City's Wheeled Excavator (WE) to undertake road and roadside maintenance activities such as vegetation mulching, shrub clearing, minor tree work and drainage clearing.
About you?
- Certificate III in Civil Construction and/or Verification of Competency (VoC) in Excavator Operations coupled with significant excavator operator experience and tickets as per Position Description
- Demonstrated experience in the safe operation of an Excavator
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to achieve common goals.
What's on offer?
- Starting salary from $62K + Superannuation
- Permanent Full Time 38 hours per week
- Options to accrue flex time and flexible working arrangements
- Generous leave entitlements - long service leave after 5 years
- Scope for performance-based salary increases.
