As we continue to expand our teams, we have a newly created role for an Organisational Development Specialist to join Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) on a permanent full – time basis.Reporting to our Organisational Development Manager and part of a wider team of three Learning Designers, you will be responsible for creating and supporting the use of fit – for – purpose tools, strategies and frameworks to boost our organisations culture and capacity by providing accurate and timely information to key stakeholders.Key Responsibilities include:Work closely with the Learning & OD Team and key stakeholders to lead the identification of future strategic and operational workforce requirements, and ensure these are integrated into existing OD and Learning frameworks, processes, and toolsDesign, develop, project manage and deliver organisation wide talent management and talent development initiativesCoach and support ‘front line’ managers to improve the engagement and retention of their teamsDrive efforts to ensure workforce capability plans continue to meet organisational needsTake responsibility for maintaining competency frameworksFacilitate effective job design by developing evidence-based systems and processes that support career roadmaps and succession planningIn conjunction with the Organisational Development Manager and Head of People and Culture, lead the refresh of our performance development and review programSelection Criteria:Australian Citizenship or Permanent residency essential (We do not offer sponsorship for this position)Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management / Organisational Development or similar5 years plus experience in an Organisational Development role within a mid to enterprise scale environmentProven track record of successfully leading and implementing talent development and talent management initiatives in complex organisationsStrong experience building and nurturing strategic relationships with stakeholders at various levels fostering partnerships and alignment with organisational objectivesSkilled in managing complex organisational changes, facilitating smooth transitions and fostering positive employee experiencePrior involvement in the development and execution of strategies to improve operational efficiency and overall organisational performance is highly regardedWhat’s in it for you?You will be joining a highly functional & experienced teamOpportunity to make a significant contribution to the business.Not-for-profit salary packaging benefits of up to $15,900 per year plus meal & entertainment to the value of $2,650Convenient office location near Epping station and street parkingAn extra paid day off at ChristmasAnnual leave LoadingDiscounted private health insuranceWellbeing initiatives such as Reward and Recognition Program, Employee Assistance Program - our employees matter!At SCC we value every employees contribution – Our culture is underpinned by our HEART Values – Honesty, Empathy, Acceptance, Respect and Teamwork.
