P04 Senior Designer

Position: Senior Designer  

Location: Nerang
Pay Rate: $73/hr+ super.
Assignment: 12 months with possibility of extension

Maxima's Recruitment Services is currently seeking highly motivated individuals for the position of Senior Designer / Urban Designer with our esteemed State Government client.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Senior Designer (Civil), you will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver planning and design projects for transport infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing expert technical advice and support for transport infrastructure projects.
• Developing transport infrastructure design models across various project phases.
• Develop road designs using 12d and AutoCad.
• Prepare contract documentation, project specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
• Ensuring adherence to relevant policies, standards, guidelines, and legislation.
• Assisting with the review of external design consultancy services.
• Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.

You will report to the Team Leader/Principal Designer (Civil) and will contribute significantly to the development and delivery of planning and design projects.

Requirements:

• A minimum three-year, accredited engineering degree such as a Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil) or an acceptable equivalent.
• Current holder of a “C” class driver’s licence is preferable.
