We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced P6 planner to join our client to oversee the implementation of a Battery storage system project in Collie on an 8/6 roster. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning with specialised knowledge in renewable energy projects.Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule Development: Utilise Primavera P6 software to create comprehensive project schedules, incorporating all necessary tasks, milestones, and dependencies
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate with project teams to allocate resources effectively, ensuring that manpower, materials, and equipment are utilised efficiently throughout the project lifecycle
- Critical Path Analysis: Conduct critical path analysis to identify the sequence of tasks that determine the project's overall duration, allowing for optimisation of resources and scheduling adjustments as needed
- Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress against the established schedule, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions to keep the project on track
- Risk Management: Anticipate potential risks and delays in project execution, develop contingency plans, and communicate with stakeholders to mitigate risks and minimise impact on project timelines
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in project scheduling, preferably in construction, engineering, or related industries. Proficiency in Primavera P6 software is essential.
