PA to Director Development & Regulation

About Ku-ring-gai Council
Located 16 km’s north of the Sydney CBD, the Ku-ring-gai area covers 84km2, is home to 124,000 residents and set in one of New South Wales’ most attractive natural environments.
Reporting to the Director Development & Regulation, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing high level administrative and secretarial support to the Director Development & Regulation and senior managers within the Department
- Preparation and/or co-ordination of correspondence, documentation, memos, requisitions, reports and presentations
- Providing secretarial support to committees and meetings
- Electronic filing using Records Manager software
- Maintenance of various council registers
- Meeting room set-up and event/catering coordination
Being able to successfully manage competing priorities and high volumes of work effectively within tight timeframes is a key requirement of this position, as is the ability to work with discretion and complete confidentiality.
Required experience & skills:
To be considered for this role, you will require exceptional attention to detail, experience providing high level executive support and administrative services and be proficient in the use of personal computer applications, in particular the Microsoft suite of products (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS and PowerPoint). A minimum typing speed of 60wpm is also required.
