About the role

Visy Paper Mill 4 at Coolaroo is a recycled Paper Mill in the Visy industries group operating multiple pulp-making lines as well as one paper-machine with all ancillary manufacturing equipment.

Duties

Reporting to the Shift Foreman, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Willingness to learn and be mechanically competent in safe operation of the manufacturing equipment.
• Assimilate technical and complex information and use these to optimise productivity.
• Conduct quality assessments on the process and finished product.
• Comply with all WHS and environmental procedures.
• Problem solves technical aspects of the process.

• Team member qualities and be able to work in a team environment.
• Good Communication skills
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position including manual handling which will be performed during shift work.
• Previous experience working in a paper making or packaging manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
