Position
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Paralegal/Administration Assistant to join our dynamic team on a casual basis (2-3 days per week). You will play a critical role in supporting our lawyers with legal research, document preparation, and case management whilst gaining invaluable exposure to the legal industry.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Legal research: Conducting legal research and analysis.
- Legal documents: Drafting and proofreading legal documents.
- Communication: Communicating with others in a professional written and verbal manner.
- General administrative support: Scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings and providing general administrative support to staff as needed.
Skills and Experience
- Education: Currently studying a Bachelor of Laws (2nd or 3rd year preferred).
- LEAP: Knowledge of LEAP legal system is desirable, however not mandatory.
- Detail-orientated: Accuracy & attention to detail.
