Omegahealth Care is a fast growing comprehensive Mental Health Service, providing high quality Mental Health Care in in Fairfield NSW and beyond.
Our dedicated and caring team includes Psychiatry, Psychology and further treatment options, servicing patients in pre-school and above. Due to our growth and service demand, we are looking to expand our administration team with a Part Time candidate who is passionate about providing a warm, sensitive, and exceptional patient experience and can perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Position requirements:
- Previous medical experience preferred (Halaxy software experience preferred but not required)
- Proficient with Microsoft suite
- Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and takes initiative
- Warm phone and face to face etiquette
- Time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Great communicator – written & verbal
- Can work autonomously and as part of a team
- Available to work across other locations as required
- Flexible to cover shifts and grow with the team based on performance
- Availability to work 3-4 days a week (for the right candidate)
Main responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Welcoming patients, answering the telephone, and answering web/email enquiries.
- General emails
- Guiding patients through the booking process and promoting our services through knowledge of our offerings.
- Scheduling & confirming appointments
- Inbound & outbound call management
- Keeping a clean admin & reception area and general clinic areas.
- Processing billing and payments, using our medical software.
- Following up aged debtors
- Liaising with Medicare and private health funds.
- Faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing documentation.
- Monitoring and ordering stationery and clinical supplies.
- Comply with clinic policies & procedures.
- Booking and organising other appointments and commitments for staff.
- Maintaining information confidentiality.
- Liaising with other medical specialists, General and psychologists with professionalism and discretion.
- Reporting & supporting the Practice Managers and Directors.
- Supporting the clinician team.
