The Organisation:
TransitCare is a not for profit organisation that provides socially inclusive, safe and reliable transport and support services to assist socially isolated people and people with disabilities to live independently in their own homes and participate in their communities. Main services provided are social and medical transport and activities for clients living in the Brisbane South, Logan and Redlands areas. TransitCare is proud of our recent completion of our Reflect Level RAP. We also manage the delivery of similar services in both our Townsville, Cairns and Gold Coast branches. Accredited to ISO 14001 & 9001 we are committed to continuous improvement as we strive toward Best Practice in all areas of our operation.
The Role:
We are seeking a person for a permanent part time Public Relations Position. This position is for 24 hours per week.
The role includes:
- Design and delivery of the organisation's marketing and communications plans and deliverables
- Design and delivery of the organisation's regular external communications including client newsletters, surveys, annual reports and social media
- Design and delivery of specialist external and internal communication campaigns
- Attendance and presentation delivery at expos, retirement villages and clubs and co-ordinate bookings for bus trip events, supporting the social support events team
The Person:
Formal studies in marketing are well regarded, but not required.
The position would suit someone studying or relatively new in a Public Relations career with a strong affinity for elderly people and a desire to contribute to the community.
You will need to have the ability to obtain a Workers Screening card and a Blue card as well as a Federal Police Check.
Due to our funding requirements you must be double vaccinated.
