The candidates will have experience relevant to our operation, this role involves daily production and hands on execution of our range of products including individual desserts, slices and cakes, pastries, pies etc.
We are seeking the following position:-
Qualified Pastry Chef
Ideally you will have at least 1 years' hands on post qualification experience working as a Pastry Chef/Patissiere/Baker. Your pastry skills will be utilised throughout the various sections within our pastry kitchen, such as our baking, pastry, savoury, and decorating rooms.
Our ideal candidate will have:-
- Certificate III Cake, Pastry, Patisserie
- enthusiasm, creativity and a passion for the trade
- team player
- well organised and even tempered
- strong work ethic and flexible attitude to the allocation of tasks
- ability to work well under pressure
- strong attention to detail
- strong literacy and numeric skills
- high level of personal hygiene
- ability to perform duties in a physical environment
- ability to adhere to workplace rules, policies and procedures
- ability to adhere to Workplace Health and Safety regulations
- an understanding of HACCP food safety system
