My client is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator, to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to enhance their career within payroll.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working as part of a small team, your duties will include
- Set up new starters and finishers within payroll system
- Process employees' payment for hours worked and other entitlements to ensure compliance with contract of employment.
- Establish and maintain employee records within payroll systems ensuring information is accurate to assist efficient payroll processing.
- Process employees Superannuation contributions and documentation to relevant funds to ensure appropriate contributions are paid in a timely manner.
- Establish and administer Group and PAYG deductions to ensure appropriate deductions are made from employees' salaries in accordance with taxation legislation and employee requests.
- Provide reports to key business stakeholders, Finance and the Audit committee to support efficient management of employee entitlements and correct allocation of expenditure.
- Ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 years experience working within Payroll
- Demonstrated understanding in award interpretation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills
- Available to start a new role asap
- Full working rights within Australia
