Payroll and Accounts Officer

About the role We are looking for an experienced Payroll and Accounts Officer to join our Finance Team for a full time role. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be the key person for all payroll related matters to ensure the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll while supporting the Finance Manager with financial entries and reports. You will work closely with the finance team on ad hoc projects and tasks. Key Responsibilities Managing Payroll for 250+ employees Check timesheets and overtime in BuRPS Process weekly payroll through BuRPS and MYOB Setting up and maintaining team members data Preparing and processing payroll adjustments and terminations Record Accounting Entries for financial transactions in NetSuite and MYOB Reconciliation of Sales and working on end of month entries Check and review of weekly supplier payments Prepare end of month financial reports What are the minimum requirements for this position? 5+ years of payroll experience Tertiary accounting qualification or equivalent experience Advanced skills in computer literacy Experience with MYOB, NetSuite ,Excel and Adobe Software Understanding of accounting principles Desirable requirements Finance experience in a Not-For-Profit organisation To be successful in this role, you will have: Well developed written and oral communication Strong attention to detail Problem solving skills Able to work autonomously Strong time management skills Strong Work Ethic Why should you join us?
