You will contribute to delivering a best practice internal payroll service to St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. You will work in accordance with the needs of the hospital and applicable industrial agreements through efficient, timely and accurate processing of payroll information variations.Duties include, but not limited to:
- Administrative support to the Payroll Services team
- Provide first line customer service in response to employee payroll enquiries
- Ensure compliance with statutory and organisational requirements through adherence to relevant processes and controls
- Accurately calculate wages, terminations, leave entitlements, and redundancies
- Interpreting and update records across the organization in compliance with the award
- Exceptional customer service
- Payroll experience
- Current knowledge of legislation
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
