The Role

In this newly established position, you will assume responsibility for end-to-end payroll processing from the Finance Manager while also developing and refining processes and procedures. Your duties will include:

• Handling end-to-end payroll processing for both site labor and salaried staff.
• Working with multiple EAs across multiple projects
• Maintaining employee master files within the payroll system.
• Reconciling and managing superannuation and statutory obligations, encompassing PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workers' Compensation, and other payroll deductions.
• Establishing rapport with key project personnel to optimize payroll processes.
• Generating month-end payroll reports, including payroll cost reporting to projects and reconciliation of payroll accounts.
• Preparing year-end payroll reports.
• Overseeing the payroll system, including maintenance and enhancement.
• Developing procedures and processes to align with business requirements.

Your Skills & Experience

• Minimum three years' experience in Australian payroll settings.
• Proficiency in interpreting awards and Enterprise Agreements (EAs)
