About the Role
In this role, you'll see yourself working closely with the People and Culture team, all whilst utilising your payroll knowledge and skills to manage the full function payroll, gain exposure to project work and carry out various payroll responsibilities.
Duties:
- Perform full end to end Payroll using MicrOpay
- Process Australia and NZ payroll
- Process Tax, Super and Terminations and Redundancies
- Enter payment information into the system
- Collaborate on potential payroll projects coming up
- Demonstrate strong customer service to the highest level
- Offer effective, clear and support communication to colleagues when necessary
- Adhere to all payroll related queries and manage the payroll query inbox
Skills and Experience
- Experience processing full-function payroll
- Experience using MicrOpay is ideal and preferred
- Experience in a similiar role and capacity
- Process new starters and answer payroll queries
- A strong eye for detail
- Experience making some manual calculations and using Excel
- The ability to pick new processes up quickly and efficiently
- Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and develop work plans to achieve deadlines
- Ability to work well within a team environment
