Currently, they're seeking a Payroll professional to join the business on a full-time permanent basis, and assist with the accurate & efficient functioning of the national payroll function.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
- End to end payroll for 700 employees
- Experienced in processed Fairwork and superannuation
- Interpreting all relevant awards, EBAs and entitlements
- PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover and Superannuation payments
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Assisting the team to work together to achieve common goals to a high standard
- Partnering with the leadership team to drive process improvements
- Providing high quality customer service through accurate information and support to employee and stakeholder enquires
- Supporting the Payroll Manager with end of month responsibilities, reconciliations and additional duties
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar position along with the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in full function payroll processing
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven process improvement initiatives
- High attention to detail including prioritising and organising workload
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work well under pressure
- Confident when dealing with stakeholders both internal and external
- Able to take initiative and accountability for assigned task
