- Job Title:Payroll Officer
- Type of Employment: Permanent
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week - 9-day fortnight
- Salary: Up to $80,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Key Duties: As a Payroll Officer reporting to the CFO, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing end-to-end payroll for 150 employees on a fortnightly basis
- Liaising with various internal and external stakeholders
- Processing new starters, terminations, and payroll adjustments
- Calculating and processing leave applications
- Interpreting the Manufacturers, Professional & Clerks Award
- Assisting internal stakeholders and resolving payroll queries via telephone and email
Key Requirements: The ideal candidate will have:
- End-to-end payroll experience and a strong understanding of the Manufacturers, Professional & Clerks Awards payroll
- Proficiency in Excel and ability to work with spreadsheets
- Australian citizenship is essential
- High level of initiative and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
