Additional specific accountabilities include but are not limited to:
PAYROLL MANAGEMENT
Process fortnightly and monthly payroll within ADP Payroll.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll tax regulations.
Weekly labour analysis (job costing and payroll analysis to ensure matched and hours are matched to correct job in Human Force. Chasing up breaks, missing shifts etc with branch managers.
Process monthly Payroll tax.
Resolving any pay variances, pay adjustment and termination payments.
Resolving manager or employee payroll queries nationally via Payroll inbox
Processing Payroll Journal along with all leave accrual journals in the ERP system (D365).
Responsible for reconciliation of Payroll Leave Accounts – Quarterly
PAYG – monthly
Superannuation and ad hoc payroll deductions – monthly
Workcover and Payroll Tax annually
Prepare and analyse monthly labour utilisation report for the branches (payroll task).
Collaborate with finance, accounting, and HR teams to ensure seamless payroll and HR operations.
Recommend and implement payroll and HR software enhancements or upgrades.
Assist with budget v actual salary payroll report. Determine variances and reconcile accordingly with Finance management.
Stay updated on employment laws, regulations, and industry trends related to payroll and HR.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
HR SUPPORT
Maintain and update new and terminating employee data in Human Force.
Maintaining and update new and termination employee data in ADP Payroll.
Maintain data integrity in master data employee spreadsheet.
Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
Provide a high and professional level of internal and external customer service.
QUALITY
100% compliance with Normet Safety Standards.
Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of the Quality Management System.
