The Role:
This role is responsible for the accurate & timely processing of payroll for the entire business.
Some of the daily duties whilst in this role include but are not limited to:
- End to end processing of payroll
- Updating and maintaining payroll records
- Maintenance of payroll and time and attendance systems
- Calculation and processing of termination payments
- Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations including Single Touch Payroll reporting
- Processing increases and calculation of back pays
- Reconciliation and payment of superannuation contributions
- Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries
- Interpreting awards/agreements and contracts
- End of year processing and reconciliation including payment summaries
- Sound knowledge of tax and superannuation legislation
The Candidate:
- Minimum 3 years’ payroll experience
- Experience with Chris21& Kronos.
- Demonstrated experience processing payrolls on a weekly basis
- Experience maintaining payroll and time & attendance data
- Confident & skilled Excel user (including V Lookup & Pivot Tables)
- Experience interpreting awards and agreement.
- Sound knowledge of tax and superannuation legislation
