The Role
Due to growth within the Finance team, this highly successful business is now seeking an experienced Payroll Officer. This role has flexibility to be Full Time or Part Time (4 days per week or flexible hours across 5 days).
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Process the weekly and monthly payrolls within the required timeframe for 180 staff
- Ensure the ATO and superannuation payments are paid within the required time frame.
- Prepare regular payroll reports ensuring accurate statistical data
- Streamline and document payroll processes
- Provide accurate record keeping including document management and archiving
- Create and maintain staff personnel files
- Work in conjunction with HR on Administration functions
- Manage PPE for both new starters and existing employees
- Prepare regular HR reports ensuring accurate statistical data
- Timely and efficient processing of purchase orders
About You
To be successful in this role you must possess the following:
- Minimum 4 years in a payroll specific position
- Autonomy
- Self-motivation and initiative
- Strong communication
- Proven administration skills
- Experience working with a large scale workforce
