Description
Your job duties will include:
- Accurate and timely processing of payroll on a weekly basis
- Ensure entries to the payroll systems are accurately captured and checked for validity
- Review workplace awards on a regular basis to ensure each employee is being paid in line with workplace laws and entitlements. This includes the award and levels within the award
- Contribute to the award interpretation discussions
- Investigate and resolve payroll queries in a timely manner
- Maintain and update payroll-related information for all staff
- Accurate calculation and payment of all payroll-related statutory requirements
- Assist with payroll system implementations and transitions
- Contribute to development and documentation of internal processes and policies
- Identify, implement and communicate improvements in payroll efficiency with the assistance of management where necessary
Profile
The successful candidate will have 3+ years of end to end, and ideally high volume, payroll experience. They will have the ability to work autonomously whilst also being able to contribute well within the team environment. Attention to detail and working with a sense of urgency is a MUST.
