We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Services Officer – Payroll to provide Maternity Leave coverage for a fixed term period of 18 months.
Working from our Fassifern based corporate office, this full-time role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced and organised Payroll professional to work with the Centennial Payroll team.
Role description
- Processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
- Interpretation of payroll related legislation and Enterprise Agreements
- Administer records relating to PAYG and other employee benefits
- Assist with payroll reporting activities and end of year payroll processes

Suitable candidates will have
- Experience working in a similar payroll-based role, with time and attendance system experience highly regarded
- Knowledge and experience in PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, workers compensation and Long Service Leave
- Excellent computer proficiency, including the MS Office suite in particular Excel
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- An organised and reliable work ethic
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in the workplace
- Ability to build good internal relationships with key stakeholders
Previous experience in the mining industry may be advantageous.
