A dynamic Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Payroll Officer to join a friendly team, In this role you will be assisting with managing the departments end to end payroll The successful Payroll Officer will be offered an initial 4-6 month contract with the view to extend.
Successful Payroll Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Processing employees pay, issuing deductions and other earnings
- Verifying work hours and payment through payrole system
- Updating payroll records regularly
The successful Payroll Officer will have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience in a Payroll Officer position
- Experience working with Micropay
- The ability to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail
