Job description:

The Opportunity

Support the weekly and fortnightly payroll for the Virginia factory. Deliver compliant and efficient payroll processing, ensuring accurate data that is up to date with employee changes, enterprise agreements, legislation and regulatory changes.

The Accountabilities

• Administer weekly and fortnightly payrolls in compliance with company policies, government regulations and SOX compliance
• Work with key business stakeholders to identify opportunities for system and support process optimisation to drive operational effectiveness
• Assisting with preparation, balancing and reconciliation of payroll tax, group tax, PAYG tax and superannuation and authorised payroll deductions
• Resolving enquiries from employees

• Understand dependencies between processes, systems and people, and translate business requirements into practical and sustainable solutions

• Interpersonal communication skills, effective collaboration, diplomacy and assertiveness
• Numeric accuracy, excel expertise, attention to detail
