The dedicated payroll team manages end-to-end payroll services for more than 1,200 employees across 70 entities on a weekly basis.
The Role:
We are seeking a Payroll Officer, who can hit the ground running to join our clients payroll team based in Hamilton, QLD.
What will you be doing?
- Accurate and timely processing of high volume end-to-end weekly payroll;
- Provide high level communication and customer service;
- Updating employee profiles
- Payroll and employee reporting
- Termination calculations
- Award interpretations
- Superannuation processing
- Year-end processes
- Professional payroll training and development
- Ad hoc administration.
- 3+ years payroll experience
- Experience in a sizeable organisation with a large employee base ideal
- Ability to display initiative and work independently
- Be self-motivate and ability to meet deadlines
- Advanced computer literacy skills
- Background in a variety of payroll systems
- Exposure to award interpretation
- High work ethic and positive attitude
- Helpful, friendly attitude with a focus on teamwork
- Can take on responsibility, accountability, work independently and multitask.
