AddressWe have an incredible opportunity for a passionate, self-motivated individual to join our Payroll team based at our Fremantle office. You will work in a close-knit Payroll team to assist with payroll processing and other administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be analytical, accurate and have strong attention to detail. This role is a full time, fixed term contract for 12 months.

Operating across Australia from state-of-the-art processing facilities in Western Australia, Victoria and Tasmania, Craig Mostyn produces fresh pork, lamb, beef, abalone, protein meal and tallow to be distributed to food service, retail and wholesale clients. The Group employs over 1,400 employees throughout Australia.
Key responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining employee records
- Monitoring the payroll inbox and responding to internal and external queries in a timely manner
- Process end-to-end weekly and monthly payrolls ensuring compliance is maintained
- Calculate and process payments in accordance with the relevant legislation and Awards, Agreements, and contracts of employment
- Assist the payroll supervisor with maintenance of payroll and timekeeping software
- Reconcile and process payments of Superannuation, PAYG and Payroll Tax
- General payroll administrative tasks
- Prepare annual, monthly, and weekly payroll reporting statistics for internal divisions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes
Essential knowledge, skills, and experience:
- 2-3 years experience in a payroll or equivalent role
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
- Experience in the interpretation and application of Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel
- Previous experience with ADP or Kronos, desirable
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
