Eligibility: Open to EveryoneJob Description:AS06 People and Culture Business Partner (Full Time)About the RoleThe Parliament of South Australia is seeking a dedicated People and Culture Business Partner to provide high level advice, under broad direction, in the management and delivery of people, culture and capability services and solutions that are fit for purpose, customer focused and trusted.In this role you will be implementing strategies and actions for human resources, work health and safety, employee relations, while ensuring continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industrial instruments. You will provide high-level strategic advice to our leaders, managers and staff on complex and sensitive matters. Moreover, you will contribute to transformational workplace change and support strategic initiatives, all while promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect within Parliament.Responsibilities: The incumbent will be required to provide authoritative advice, support and consultancy to all levels within the Parliament. The People and Culture Business Partner will build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and deliver outcomes-focused advice on a range of generalist people management matters.Selection Criteria:
- Significant operational People and Culture experience in a complex environment and proven ability to provide high level advice, internal consultancy, and innovative solutions supported by a relevant business, HR, and/or WHS qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to research and provide specialist advice in one or more areas of Work Health and Safety, Injury Management, Employee Relations, Change Management; Recruitment and Selection; Employee Relations; Equity and Diversity; Policy Development; and Performance Management.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor staff and clients with an ability to support and drive change across a mix of established departmental cultures and manage sensitive situations confidentially and effectively.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills, including experience in business, report writing, policy review and development, advocacy, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated project-planning and management ability, resilience under a degree of pressure through working with a degree of autonomy and contribute effectively as a member of a professional team.
- Proven understanding of contemporary technology to embed process improvements in business-as-usual activities and support the evolution of a best practice People and Culture function (e.g. Human Resource Information System (HRIS), hazard/incident reporting systems).
