About the role:
This role offers an exciting opportunity to build relationships within the business and become a key figure within the P&C team for all day-to-day people enquiries for managers and leaders.
You will work closely with the Senior People & Culture Business Partner along with the other team members to provide high-quality, contemporary people advice. Your ability to influence and engage in meaningful conversations will be instrumental in delivering engaging people solutions and supporting Data Action's organisational goals.
What you'll do:
As a People & Culture Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the culture of the organisation. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing coaching to team leaders and managers by fostering strategic partnerships across the business.
In addition, you will be responsible for the following:
- Act as a trusted partner to provide timely and effective coaching and mentoring to team leaders and managers across the organisation.
- Foster and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders across the business.
- Partner with leaders to facilitate high performance, engagement, and service delivery through appropriate people initiatives.
- Manage employee relation matters and assist leaders in addressing grievances, conducting investigations, and managing performance.
- Work alongside the Senior P&C Business Partner to develop and implement best practice people related policies and procedures to support change initiatives.
- Support recruitment process across the business by partnering with leaders to address and fill vacant positions within their teams.
- Provide support with succession planning and talent development strategies for mentoring and training.
- Identify leadership and capability needs and work with the P&C team to help deliver solutions to allow for continued growth.
- Assist with operational P&C tasks as needed and ensure all P&C requirements are kept up to date.
What you will bring:
The ideal candidate for this People & Culture Business Partner role will bring a wealth of experience in human resources or a related field.
The key requirements to be successful are:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline
- A minimum of 3 years P&C/HR experience
- Demonstrable experience in managing employee relations and industrial relations matters.
- Sound knowledge of P&C/HR practices, standards, and statutory requirements
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects/work streams and deliver timely, quality results.
- Ability to work within a collaborate team environment.
