In this critical role, our client seeks a People and Culture Manager to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role will oversee operations across two sites in the eastern region. The focus will be on building upon recent initiatives in establishing a robust HR framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Operations Management: Including talent acquisition
- Compliance Assurance: Reporting standards and employee safety policies
- Strategic Collaboration: Work with the senior leadership team (SLT) for organizational success
- Employee Relations Handling: Address grievances and escalations educating staff on expectations regarding behaviour
- Change Management: Navigate processes while influencing stakeholders
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
- Professional Experience: Proven track record in HR management or as a HR BP who is ready to step up, preferably in a blue-collar setting
- Communication Skills: Exceptional negotiation and leadership abilities
- Problem-Solving Aptitude: Logical and analytical mindset
- Legal and Policy Knowledge: Understanding of HR policies, practices, and employment legislation
- Change Leadership: Experience driving cultural change in challenging environments
