The role
You will be responsible for providing administration support to the People Support Department and to ensure a customer-focused service is provided to all employees and members of the public who are in contact with the Department.
Including:
- Responding to telephone and email enquiries
- Manage the People Support email account, including receiving, responding to and distributing correspondence
- Processing pre-employment checks including police and medical checks
- Providing support to employees and members of the public regarding recruitment processes and Council’s self-service system
- Enter data accurately into Council’s HRIS system (Aurion)
- Processing purchase orders and invoices
About you
With your strong administration, relationship building and communication skills you will have the ability to deescalate matters to ensure a positive experience for our customers.
You’re cool even under pressure, with a positive customer service approach.
With your understanding and passion for improving processes you will be a great communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships across Council.
