The Social Research Centre is dedicated to conducting world-class research that informs decision making and advances our understanding of Australian Society. We are looking for a motivated Advisor to join our P&C team in this ongoing full-time role. Reporting to the P&C Manager, you will provide advice and operational support to employees and managers across the organisation. This role would suit a true generalist who thrives on being involved in all aspects of people management, excels at developing positive relationships and works with internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.

Responsibilities will include:
- Providing advisory and operational support across all P&C activities including, but not limited to, recruitment, onboarding, policies, procedures and legislation, performance management, coaching/mentoring and exit processes
- P&C metrics, analysis and reporting
- Updating / maintaining people facing systems
- Training coordination and facilitation
- Contribute to the review of P&C practices and strategies
- Participating in company wide projects
- Supporting Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing
About you:
You enjoy variety and value diversity. You are passionate about culture and people, open and approachable, and thrive in developing strong internal and external relationships to deliver high quality solutions. You are a strong communicator with sound knowledge of IR legislation and practice. You are positive, solutions focused and enjoy taking on a broad range of tasks. Tertiary qualification desirable, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a generalist role, with ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
