The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive candidate looking to progress their career within the HR/People & Culture field!
Working directly with our People & Culture Manager, you will ensure Showpo remains compliant with all employment and NES standards, ensure maintenance of our policies, procedures and employee documentation and also work with our incredible Distribution Centre on warehouse related issues. Additionally - you will act as a culture contributor within the Showpo team; assisting with the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and assisting with training to our managers.
Day to day, you will:
- Learn and manage People Operations at Showpo, ensuring compliance across: Data Management, Payroll, Policy & Procedure, National Employment Standards (NES), OH&S and Employment Relations
- Learn and maintain knowledge of the legal requirements of day-to-day management of employees, including any legal risks or compliance changes
- Work with leaders and managers within the Distribution Centre (with input from P&C Manager) to manage any grievances for their team members, and provide guidance where appropriate to leaders to help them get the most out of their teams
- Ensure Showpo's annual people cycle and programs within it (compensation, performance, engagement survey) are set up and the documentation is completed and accurate
- Refine and 'be the steward' of Showpo's onboarding and off-boarding experience
- Post, source and manage new job positions at Showpo
- Office coordination - liaise with the building manager on any issues and ensure the office is well stocked (weekly grocery and regular stationary orders)
- Previous exposure to working within a P&C/HR team highly regarded
- Proactive, confidential culture contributor with an exceptionally high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced and agile environment
- Ability to work with a variety of different stakeholders and deal with confidential matters with a high level of professionalism and discretion
- Qualification in HR highly regarded
- Hybrid working - office HQ, work from home and also regular visits to our Chullora warehouse (parking on site)
