We are looking to recruit an organised and efficient People Services Officer to join our team for a fixed-term 12-month parental leave cover.
Reporting to the People Services Manager, this individual is responsible for providing accurate and timely generalist People related advice, support and transactional services to leaders and team members across the business, including internal People and Culture functions. It is a high-volume time-bound transactional role, with strong customer service at its core.
Location: South Guildford, WA
Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5-hour days (including a 30-minute unpaid meal break)
To be successful the following is required:
- Experience in a HR Officer or Generalist role with exposure to working with frontline operations
- Flexible and adaptable approach – ability to work within a consistently changing environment, with strong interpersonal skills to communicate and manage a variety of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, discretion, sound judgement, high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- High level of attention to detail and capacity to continuously multi-task and prioritise workload in line with fortnightly pay run
- Previous experience working in a team environment, with ability to show resilience when challenged
- Robust organisational skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities
- A customer focus with a drive to deliver underpinned by the ability to problem solve – using own initiative to find an outcome, seek out information and provide resolution
- Previous experience in SuccessFactors Employee Central and/or SAP – highly desirable
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field, or actively undertaking HR studies or AHRI Membership - desirable
