We’re currently recruiting for a strong leader to work as a Performance Manager in our client’s Rail Maintenance depot, to drive performance improvements to quality and productivity at their facility.
This is a 6-month contract role (with opportunity to extend) working night shift at our client’s maintenance facility (Sunday to Thursday), reporting into one of their senior leadership team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct audits of work completed, identifying, and addressing performance gaps and inefficiency issues.
- Address performance issues, negative behaviours, and underperformance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve performance and meet KPIs.
- Document and report findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Lead initiatives to optimise strategy and delivery of work undertaken.
Skills and Requirements
- Strong people management experience
- Ability to manage a unionised workforce
- Experience in conflict management/resolution
- Performance and disciplinary management
- Experience in Management of Maintenance/Manufacturing/Production, or similar
- Heavy industry experience
