An exciting opportunity has emerged for a motivated and proactive Bookkeeper/Administration expert to join our team. The position is initially offered as 4 days per week, with the possibility to adapt to 5 days in the future. You will be working on a range of inhouse admin, payroll and bookkeeping duties.
The Position:
Working as a part of our office team and alongside our primary bookkeeper, you will perform high-level Bookkeeping duties as well as General Administration tasks, including but not limited to:
- Collating purchase orders, delivery dockets, invoices and statements.
- General filing.
- Preparation and lodgment of statutory compliance (BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax).
- Processing weekly payroll and monthly superannuation.
- Scheduling all monthly out-going payments to contractors and suppliers.
- Manage trade debtors and their payment terms.
- Handling your own emails and occasional phone calls.
- Administrative duties such as data entry, renewing insurances, and other duties that support the function of our business.
- EOFY archiving.
- Filling in for staff who are on Annual Leave, so that our systems continue to flow whilst they are absent.
To be successful you will:
- Have completed at least 5 years in a similar role.
- the ability to work unsupervised.
- Be highly competent with MYOB Account Right and professional bookkeeping practices.
- Have a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, Outlook, Word etc.
- Have a strong understanding of Microsoft Teams.
- Willing to be trained in our systems and grow with our Company.
- Have very strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Be reliable, dependable and honest.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Be highly organized.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail.
- Have a positive and proactive can-do attitude.
The negotiated, Salary will depend upon experience and level of work to be undertaken in your daily duties. Within ordinary business hours, we are willing to negotiate the days and hours of the role to best suit you for school drop off/pick up etc.
