Salary – A$ 38 - 50 per hour

Position Overview:
Provision of a wide range of Pharmacy services to inpatients and outpatients of the hospital, including dispensing, distribution and manufacturing services as well as clinical services. Promotion of both safety and quality as key aspects of drug therapy. Participation in quality improvement and professional development, as well contribution to education and supervision of other staff and students.
Required Experience- Early career professional 2-5 years’ service/ practice experience
Additional Information:
- 8th April 2024 to 26th April 2024 in Biloela then travel to Gladstone. Then based in Gladstone from 29th April 2024 to 31st May 2024
- Please note: Whilst in Biloela the successful candidate would be the only Pharmacist. As such it is a requirement that they have Hospital experience.
- Working hours 8:30am – 5:00pm

- Full Pharmacist registration with AHPRA with no restrictions to the scope of practice.
- Demonstrated excellence in the provision of clinical Pharmacy services consistent with the Standards of Practice of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia.
- Sound clinical drug knowledge and highly-developed skills the application of this knowledge to improve patient care through critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the success of the pharmacy team.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based, outcome-driven quality improvement.
- COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement
