Public Sector People are working with a local council in the Northwestern suburbs on the urban fringe to recruit a Planning and Development Support Officer.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Provide customer service, administrative support and information to internal and external customers of the Planning & Development Department. Application processing, lodgment, referral, advertising, and documentation for permits, as well as archival and file maintenance, data management, mail handling, issuance of notices, orders, infringements, debtor management, and invoicing. The ideal candidate will have: Relevant expertise in building control office operations and/or statutory planning procedures.
